  • Hi! I am Danielle. I am not a diabetic, but my father is, and has been since he was 10yrs old. He is now in his late 60's. I have watched how diabetes impacts his life and now I am seeing and hearing how it impacts the lives of others through my San Diego chapter of JDRF. I am serving on the board of directors, and hoping to make an impact in the lives of diabetics through fund-raising!

In addition I am an aspiring romance writer...so check me out at my website and on my blog! I have not been published, but hope to in the near future!

  • Hello, I'm Ashlee I'm new at Type One Diabetes only a few weeks. And sometimes I get tired of it. But seeing how many people have them I relized I'm not alone like so many people have it even a lot of famoues people have it. No one in my family has diabetes but my dads grandmother had them when she got older. But thats was all.
