Hello. I am new to this forum. I am a parent of a child with Type 1 Diabetes. She has had this diease for the past 9 years now. I looking to connect with other parents with children of the same status.

Melissa T is right - there are a lot of great people in the forums and the Parents' group. Watching my folks while I was growing up - I am pretty sure that the disease is harder on the parents than the patients (and in the cases where the parents are both parent & patients - i marvel at their sanity) - we have a great group here and it's nice to have another new addition!
