e-mail alerts

    I get e-mail alerts for new posts but I no longer get them for personal conversations and I cannot figure out why.  I have everything checked off in the site options when I edit my profile but I still don't get e-mails to say someone sent me a note.  Any suggestions?

    People are not their thoughts, they think they are and it brings them all kinds of sadness.
