  • I have really lost control of myself! When I had my daughter 2 yrs ago, she was in the NICU for two months. This led to very unhealthy eating and a lot of weight gain. My husband and I were always eating at the hospital and we could only eat the "bad" stuff because of the babies schedule. Since then he has not been a good motivator for me...I take full responsability. I need some encouragement and guidance.

I have in the past two yrs gone up and down but still about 50lbs. from pre-prego weight. I really want to get prego again and need to get back to a healthy weight. I have a "walk away the pounds" DVD by Leslie Sansone that I love, but I need encouraged!

    Please Help me friends ;)

  • Hey! Sorry no one's responded, but I hope things are going better for you!

I know what you mean about wanting to get your weight down to have another baby! My endo is pressuring me to hurry up and have my next one b/c of the increased risks w/ age PLUS the D. But, I'm so not ready. I've been on steroids for an autoimmune skin condition I have and have gained 10 lbs. (plus the additional 5 or so lbs I'd packed on from just getting older, lol). Also, since my son (almost 2) was born, I've been bad about exercising. So far in the last 2 months since trying to exercise again, I've only lost 2 lbs, but my stomach looks slightly flatter. I'm not ready for another baby for other reasons (about to change jobs, finances, etc). But, I'm really hoping to loose another 8-12 lbs in the next 2 years or so and then try. When I was pregnant, I was never one of these motivated people who worked out, so I know it's now or never, lol. It just seems so hard at this point!

I've also been *trying* to do those little things like park farther from a store or taking the stairs instead of the elevator at work. But, I'm bad about remembering which is why I'm on here hoping someone else will get my *ss in gear. (:

Send us an update on how you're doing!

  • Hi Heidi,

It is SO hard to lose weight...especially the older we get - it's just not right!  :o)

My husband has struggled ever since I met him 5 years ago to lose weight and he finally found something that works.  He started using this Zija Nutrition/Weight Management System and he has lost 30 pounds so far.  I think this system is so very different because it accomplishes a lot of things at one time - weight loss, increase in energy, and helps you to feel better.  And one more plus - it is all natural - no artificial anything.

I'm not one to try gimmicks or tricks so I have only done the nutrition part so far and it has made such a huge difference in how I feel.  I didn't not realize how bad I felt before or how much energy I did NOT have until now that I have started feeling so good.   But now that my husband has had such great results in losing weight, I finally started the weight loss part this week.  I don't feel as hungry as I did before and I definitely don't feel like eating everything in site like I have in the past.

I'm also starting to exercise since I feel so good and have so much energy.  Exercise is a big part of losing weight - even if it is just walking each day.  But it is so very hard to start up...why does everything have to be so challenging?  D:

I sure don't mean to push this on people, but I have seen so many people start to feel so very good that I want to share it with everyone who may need it.

Best of luck to you!  And please let us know how you are doing!  Kathy

  • Forgot to mention that we can send you a few free samples to try it out for yourself...just let me know if you would like to!  Thanks, Kathy
