Someday, 'ex-diabetic' will be just as much a part of us as 'diabetic' is right now... But in the mean time I plan to blog about that road there :)

The Water Experiment: Day 7/Alyssa: DEHYDRATED
So, I see it’s been a week
J Yes, another dehydrated day for me. But only because I planned on drinking water and actually forgot in the chaous of the day. I’m working on submitting some writing so that’s got me pretty tied up at the moment.
Again, this may or may not be accounted for in the final determination if water has helped my blood sugars dependent upon how many ‘hydrated’ days I get in. And even though this is in fact the weekend, I’ve been running around all day so it counts for as weekday data
J
Blood sugars for today, they haven’t been the best, have been in mg/dL:
212          202                168                196                168                151                114                107                168

Oohh…. Lots of testing… and onle two in range!
L Not so good.
I took two readings out for the data: 107 and 121. Those weren’t actual readings; Mad Evans and I were goofing off seeing if an orange changes your blood sugars when the juice is on your fingures for a finger ***… turns out it does. So those have been scrapped; but it does work.
J

Average for today: 165.11 mg/dL

Not too shabby.
Tomorrow is another busy day for me, running around again. But I’ll see if I can try and remember to bring water along with me. I bought a bottle today at the store and saved it just for the occasion. If I can manage to consume about 100 oz. of water while on the go, it will be a hydrated day for me. If not, that’s the fourth dehydrated in a row
J

Anyway, as it is 1:30 in the morning, I am off to squeeze in a couple hours sleep before I get right back up to keep writing. Yay.

  • I hope you get some rest!!

Maybe we should do an experiment to see the correlation between sleep depravation and blood sugar...he he.

    Just kidding!

    Blessings!
