Hi, my name is Caitlin and I am new to this site. I wanted somewhere where I could talk to other diabetics since I dont have any friends that have it...I was diagnosed on March 20th after being in the hospital for a week due to my super high blood sugar of 680. So far I havent had many problems I'm just sorta tired of it....and I'm only 3 months into it....
Other than being a diabetic, I enjoy playing soccer and hanging out with friends and family....
Welcome to Juvenation!!!!! Hey I think I've been through Burlington, NC. I lived in NC for a couple of years. Sorry you had to join Club 1, but you have found a good place for us. Lot's of the people here have lot's of good stuff!!! Me, I am still kind of a newbie, it'll be 2 years this Aug. My bs when dx'ed was 672, close huh?? LOL also was a little older LOL 52 can you believe it. Well enough about me. If you have any questions or need any help just ask these people are a great help!!!! Welcome

Hi! Welcome to Juvenation! Being a newbie to diabetes can be scary and overwhelming. I was diagnosed when I was 10. 25 years later, I still have bad days! Just try to take one day at a time. It isn't going away! You have found a good place for lots of support and advice! Check into some local affiliations where you live! Hang in there! Better days are ahead!
