Creedence Clearwater Revisited Animated Music Video Contest benefiting JDRF's Hope for the Holidays.
I'm sorry I didn't know about this before tonight. There's still a week left to put together a submission. Here's the story from their website:
You could win a VIP package from Creedence Clearwater Revisited for creating animation for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's charity recording of the classic Marks and Brodie tune "Run Rudolph Run." First recorded by the legendary Chuck Berry, Creedence Clearwater Revisited take on "Run Rudolph Run" is included on JDRF's fundraising compilation "Hope for the Holidays - Rockin Christmas for a Cure, " proceeds of which are going to the JDRF. Juvenile diabetes is a devastating and so far incurable autoimmune disease that requires awareness of and funding for to continue to fight. Any ideas are invited -- Jib Jab style, classic holiday animation, an art montage created by your local school or JDRF chapter, or other. Get creative and have fun with it!
The winner will receive a VIP Package from Creedence Clearwater Revisited - including a signed copy of of the group's double-live RIAA Certified Platinum CD "Recollection," the NEW JDRF "Hope for the Holidays" CD, a Creedence Clearwater Revisited T-shirt, and a pair of tickets to the Creedence Clearwater Revisited concert of your choice. There may be only one winner, but there may be more!!!
Contest begins Monday, November 23rd video’s must be posted on your YouTube channel and emailed to
networking@creedence-revis
ited.com
before Thursday, December 17th at 11:59 pm PST. Creedence Clearwater Revisited’s version of ‘Run Rudolph Run’ must accompany the video. One winner will be selected and notified on Friday, December 18th. Winners will notified via email.
So you "vidiots", get animating!!!!!!!
The Creedence Clearwater Revisited camp keeps flooring us with their generosity and dedication to this CD. Doug, Stu, Steve, John, Steve and Tal, we love you a lot!
