i have been a diabetes for the last 5 or 6 years but when i first found out i had diabetes i was good with taking sugars and insulin but now i am find it so hard for the last few year since i have been out of high school and now trying to work with diabetes is so hard with the timeing of shifts and when u take break and everything else and my problem is i do not want to be different then other not being able to eat every thing and now since i started working with a cleaning company it hard being low or high with my blood sugars, and away feel sick with my sugar.

I just think that i need to get my live in balance and try (which i know is hard) it bring my A1C from a huge 14 something to where they want it down to below 8

if anyone has any opition on thing that may help me , i would like the help to bring the A1C down so it well help me feel better.

  • Do you keep records at all?  Sometimes it's a little simpler if you have some way to track your numbers.  That way you can more physically see where things are off.  It's not that bad once you get used to doing it.  You can eat pretty much whatever you want as long as you take the insulin to account for it.  Maybe you could meet with a nutritionist to get some ideas.
