Since graduating from college and getting a taste of the real world, I have been stressed for the last 2 years. Diabetes is apart of my life but it does not control me. We can all agree on that. The issue I have is not so much diabetes, but how the system in our country works for taking care of the disease. None of us have asked for the health issue, but none the less we have been given it and are willing to accept it.
During the past 2 years we have seen the health care highway take several turns for better or worse, but some if not all of us can agree that getting insurance to cover our condition can be difficult if not employed or making enough to afford state plans.
I would like to know how others feel that fit the criteria of recent college graduate, struggling to find a career, low-income, and living day to day on the dollar. What are your concerns, feelings, ideas for tackling the issues.
