I have a 5yr old little girl with type one diabetes she was diangosed when she was 15mths old and has just went on the pump. Would love to talk to parents that have children on the pump or just have young children dealing with this disease. My daughter will start Kindergarden in the fall and that is very scary.
Hi - We have a six year old daughter who was diagnosed almost three years ago. She started using a pump two years ago and a cbg one year ago. She has dealt with this situation for Pre-K , Kindergarten and now first grade.

Hi! My name is Michele and my daughter Lauren is 4 and has just recently placed on the pump, one week ago. I was wondering if anyone recommends putting antibacterial on the old site to prevent infection? My daughter seems to get a small bump under her old site which is a bit tender. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
