Choose Joy

Life is precious!

Perhaps even more so to those of us who get to experience it in bursts of on/off, a rollercoaster of high energy (great bg), feeling like we're slogging though mud (high bg), and moments where our only thought is obtaining food - now (low bg).

We get to be responsible for ourselves in ways most people are unfamiliar with.  We get to learn that spontaneity requires being prepared.  We get to opt in to a context of taking appropriate action or opting out - ignoring, sublimating, constantly reacting.

Most of all, we decide whether to experience joy in every moment of this precious life we live.

How blessed each of us are that we were born in a time where there are medical treatments that provide for our needs - or our loved ones' needs.

Have your pity party, rage at your fate, and let it out with passion.  Then laugh - with all that you are.

Imagine what it would be like if you had to think about breathing!

Rather than BE diabetic, HAVE diabetes.
