What If... We're the Cure?

  • Comments 1

You may have heard about a new study recently by the Joslin Diabetes Center that apparently shows many longtime Type 1s have lingering beta cell turnover, meaning their insulin-producing cells inside the pancreas are trying to start working at times. Even after 50+ years or more. This is fascinating research, and begs the question: What If the cure that we've all hoped for is actually somewhere inside of us? What if? I've written more on that study and some of my take on this whole thing over at my D-Blog, The Diabetic's Corner Booth. Let me know what you think.

  • How exciting!  I've had T1 since 1975.
