Yes, I Do...
A repost retold, inspir
ed by
A Work In Progress
... an "Out Of The Mouths Of Babes" of sorts:
"Does your MOTHER know about THIS???!"
This was the emphatic question asked by an incredulous and slightly horrified friend of Joe's.
Let me set the stage.
Last year, when Joe was in first grade, he would frequently have a friend accompany him to the Health Office for the blood-letting, glucose checks, and general diabetes care that was part of his school day. On one occasion the following exchange was witnessed:
Joe:
Poking his heavily calloused fingers multiple times using the lancing device as a needle driving machine gun of sorts (
boys
) ... c*ck-poke-squeeze ...
repeat
.... c*ck-poke-squeeze ....
repeat
.... c*ck-poke-squeeze ....
finally
, he found a "bleeder".
Friend:
During the "cocking", amongst the "poking", and amidst the "squeezing" ... the friend asks Joe "Does
that
hurt?"
Joe:
Indifferently responds in his lispy, nasally voice... "no.... .... .... I do it like 15 times a day...."
Friend:
*silent*
Friend:
*now thinking*
Wait for it...Wait for it...
BAM
Friend:
*now exasperated*
...
"Does
your mother
know about
this?!"
I wonder what his friend would think of the
needle and ass cheek rendezvous
that I initiate every other day for his pump site changes?
