  • Forum Post: Sometimes... it's sooo frustrating

Hi. I'm glad I have a spot to post, as I know that you can all relate. My son Jon is ten and has had T1 for two years. He's been an OmniPod user for about a year. Jon loves playing sports, and the thought of tubes made absolutely no sense to him. (It didn't hurt that one of his favorite counselors...

  • Forum Post: Re: Why does the insulin shot "burn" or "sting" sometimes?

Mo, You just reminded me that my son expressed that same issue when his insulin came straight from fridge as well. It reminded me that that is why we always keep a bottle at room temperature even though he is on a pump. Lorraine

  • Forum Post: Re: Do you show your pump or hide it?

My son is 11 (well 12 come July) and he too wears his pump in his pocket.
