  • I'll do my best to view the online video stream on Wed. 8/25.  I work during the day but can set aside some time anytime between 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM CST.

Great job Amanda.  I watched each one of your messages!

  • Amanda, keep up the great work--lets all hope for a cure to diabetes in the very near future--

Thanks again for all you do--Rayna

  • you are doing a great job for all of us. thank you. only with people like you, we can get things done ! .............................Meena Ravee

  • Thank you for all your hard work.  My hope is that we can find a cure in my son Scott's lifetime.  So these young children can be children.

  • I HOPE YOU CAN FIND A CURE FOR THIS THING THAT KNOCKED ME DOWN DURUNG MY PRIME OF LIFE

  • What a gift it would be for my 28 year old daughter to finally be free of a disease that has been a big part of her life for 17 years.  No matter how old a child is, a mother never ever stops worrying.   I hope to wake up one day and hear on the news that the cure for diabetes has been found.  All your work is getting us closer to that day.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

  • Ihope that we can find a cure . thankyou for working so hard!

  • I am so excited to have the opportunity to listen to the update on Islet Cell Transplantation.  I would love to participate early in the morning or late evening.  My daughter had a pancreas transplant 3 years ago, and on wednesday she is finalizing the adoption of a precious little boy; something that never would have happened without the transplant.  I am hopeful that the islet cells will be the next step for transplantation so that it will be less invasive, more available, and many more people can have this miraculous opportunity!

  • Thank you so much, Amanda!  I am also a parent hoping for a child to live a "normal" life,  God Bless all of you who struggle with this disease.

  • My son Anthony was diagnosed at age 4 - he is now 13 and doing well!  However, as we all know, diabetes effects the whole family. I feel like I  haven't slept since the day we were told he had diabetes.  I have made him the promise that I will never give up on finding a cure! There is no child that should ever have to endure this any longer!  Thank you all for your hard work and understanding!

  • Thank you Amanda for all your hard work.  I am a"determined grandmother" of a 6 years old grandaughter.  I pray everyday for not only those who have Type 1 diabetes but for all who are doing" their  work" to find a cure.

  • Twenty-five years ago, when I was newly diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, my doctor told me not to worrry as within 5 years there would be a cure.  Let's hope that the doctors who tell that to the newly diagnoesd patients are true to their word.  Hopefully, the JDRF can make it so.

  • Michelle and everyone else I'm right there with you. My son was diagnosed at 4 1/2 and now is 12 and we all pray for a cure. I can't thank JDRF enough for there hard work.

  • When I pray for a cure, I pray for organizations like JDRF to succed in finding a cure with the help of all of us pulling together and keeping hope for our great human minds to strech and reach the solution.

  • Hi Juvenators! A couple of cool announcements for you all! 1. There will be a live webcast with JDRF's
