Here’s another video reflection from the 2011 JDRF Government Day by someone who is in the forefront of type 1 diabetes research. I was lucky enough to get a few moments with Dr. Judith E. Fradkin to get her thoughts on research being conducted at the National Institutes of Health.

Dr. Fradkin, M.D., is the Director at the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases, National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, (NIH). I know, I know, her title is a mouth full but what do expect from someone who’s leading some important work for our loved ones! See below to check out what she has to say:
