JDRF’s annual Government Day event is rapidly approaching. We’ll be getting together again in Washington, D.C., March 3-March 6.
We won’t be able to bring as large a group to D.C. this year as in the past but we want to make sure that the Diabetes Online Community (DOC) can participate in more than just spirit.
So, we’ll be stepping-up our game via social media. We’ll be tweeting updates using the hashtag #jdrfgovday. We’ll also be posting video and photos from a cast that includes our CEO Jeffrey Brewer, other JDRF staff members, and, of course, our volunteers.
Finally, based on the overwhelming feedback we received last year, we’ll be live streaming our JDRF research update on Monday, March 5, starting at 8:15am EST on our USTREAM channel. As we get closer, we’ll provide you with a link to the page. As usual, we will record the update and make it available immediately following the conclusion of the session.
