Ive been diabetic since 2005 and am just getting on a pump, heading to an Omnipod I think, but i have seen numbers like that with MDI's, forget to take a bolus and its right there. 

talk about feeling crappy, when i was first diagnosed, my blood registered just a hair over 1200, my doctor couldnt figure out how i was conscious.  never been back up that high since though, and im hoping that the pump can get me in a good range.

Its nice to hear that its still something i have to work at, and i cant wait to get the pump finetuned to where i need it.
