You can make your own blog, join a group, check out some really cool videos and find other people that have type 1 diabetes just like you! (You can also find other members, and see who is online in the group link as well as invite friends). If you are a parent we have a parents section as well.

If you have any other questions regarding the site you can contact me here at anytime. I will try to get back to you asap!

Oh by the way: If you write poetry or want to try to write some poetry we are holding a Funniest Diabetes Poetry Contest and the winner will receive a $20 Amazon Gift Card. We will be accepting entries from February 12 through March 12. Check out this thread to find out more...

New additions to Juvenation.org

I am pleased to announce that there are new additions to Juvenation.org today!

Here they are:

• Permissions: Added permission-based rules across the site
User over 18 can not see members under 18 unless they are friends.

• Groups: when you click on any group there is now a list of recent activity.

• User Homepages: After you log-on you can now see site-wide activity on your profile homepage.

• Member link: If you click on the member link on the top of the page you can now see who is online, search for members and invite new members as well.

• Adding Groups: Everyone has the capability to add groups.

• About Juvenation: there is an about juvenation link at the bottom of every page to aid public relations

• Twitter: If you use twitter there is a link at the bottom of every page to add juvenation.org as your friend!

• Donate button and link to the JDRF donate page: At the bottom of every page there is a link to donate and to get to the JDRF Main Homepage.

Groups in Juvenation

Some of you may be a little confused right now on how to add discussions within groups so I took some screenshots to help you get started...

First thing you want to do is... Click on the Groups Tab on the top navigation bar (Figure 1. screenshot below) then...

You will want to add a discussion to post within a group. (Figure 2. screenshot below)

It's that simple!

Now pick one, or all of the groups and get to posting! What are you waiting for! You can start off by joining the Introduce yourself group and post a little bit about yourself.

Also there is a Forum, Media and Blog tab for you to start contributing to as well.

If you have any questions on how to navigate through the site please let me know! Hopefully I will be able to help!

Also Remember... if you have any bugs to report, post them in the Site Bug Group so our developers can address any problems quickly!
