Been awhile since I've pestered you about lifting. I started this workout program called Cross Fit...have you heard of it? A lot of it is focused on olympic lifts, so when we started doing those I thought to myself that you might do them. Check out their site if you want and let me know what you think... http://www.southbaltimorecf.com

Hey Ginger!

I went back to read what I wrote and thought to myself "how can I forget about the good ol' gluconeogenesis!" since I've had my fair share of headaches having to learn about that whole process in school! Anyway, it's great how you're taking your time to help people out and including some of your articles from the website. Take care, Ruth

Woops! Thanks for correcting my post. I went back to read what I wrote and thought to myself "how can I forget about the good ol' gluconeogenesis!" since I've had my fair share of headaches having to learn about that whole process in school! Anyway, it's great how you're taking your time to help people out and including some of your articles from the website.

I never knew it was dangerous to workout while running high. I'm glad I do now though because I workout every other day. When I was first diagnosed I did have a pretty rough time. I didn't understand why I couldn't run like I had used too. It was a painful thing to overcome, mentally and physically. But I kept with it and became a better runner than I ever had before. Good call too, I am on my honeymoon phase. Have been for almost 9 months. My A1c was 5.0 and my sugars are still dropping. I don't think I could be any more blessed than I am now. I think you are doing a great thing by going out of your way to help other people like myself. Thanks so much :) I hope you are doing well with your lifting, training, and yoga instructing! What a mouthful, you must have a busy life! What I don't get is how you find the extra time to help other diabetics ;) Take care!

Hey Ginger it is very nice to meet you!
