Hi Jeremiah! I loved reading your story - so similar to my own, except I was 4 and half years old and it happened to me in 1990. Reading your story brought tears to my eyes; I am so thankful I joined Juvenation and have the opportunity to meet others battling this disease. It's a day-by-day process. I wish you well in all of your endeavors and hope to maybe have the chance to meet you someday; I would love to become more involved with the JDRF. hey just wanted to let you know that i think it is truely awesome what your doing!! =D keep it up ! by the way, i am actually doing a walk for type one in my hometown and donating the money to JDRF. got any suggestions on like how to do a good walk and raise good money?

I will certainly keep in touch, I am finally getting for mono that I've had for for about 4 weeks. Thats why I haven't been on for awhile. Mono has made me feel completely sick and not wanting to do anything. I just got out of the hospital a week ago with high ketones due to the mono. It has not been a good year for me. But anyways sorry for the late reply I hope to hear from you soon. <3 Heather

Your very welcome for the add. Your story was one of the most touching stories I have read about someont living with diabetes. Your story just tells pepole that they can do a lot being a diabetic but just got to watch how much you do. thank you for adding me back. Heather

Wow Jeremy! I want to print your profile & let my son read it. He performed this weekend in a church musical - acting & singing & was awesome! (even if he was my child) - His sugar has peaked about 3 times since he was diagnosed in Dec '08 & he gets upset & teary-eyed then wishing someone would find a cure. I'd like to show him that he doesn't have to stand by & wait, he can make a difference himself - if he puts his mind to it. Tina

I have to second Dar. I want my son to read your Bio. I've told him that being diabetic won't hold him back and you are living it! Hopefully you will be a spokesperson soon. Type 1 needs a strong and positive person for children (and adults) to look up to. Lori

Wow, what accomplishments you have made. I am impressed! I must admit, your pic got my attention, (ha,ha) you look great. Best of luck to you in your endeavors. Sounds like you have great ambitions and will go far, best of luck with the diabetes. You know, some of us do well with it, unlike the "grandma" stories you probably have heard. You know, the ones who tell you about their grandma who had all these horrible complications. I always hated those stories, they would leave me crying, no one ever knew. Now, I cut people off who try to tell them, I have my own stories to tell, mostly positive. My accomplishments are my three children, especially since I have Type I since I was sixteen. Good luck with becoming the National Spokesperson with ADA and JDRF!

Wow what an awesome story you have! I will make sure and have my son read about you and hopefully you will inspire him as well! It takes a 'positive outlook' as yours to move forward with managing Diabetes. Keep up the good work with your Diabetes Awareness!
