Hi there. Thanks for the note. How long does the rapid last in your system? I found through testing that in me it peaked at the 4 hour point. At the time, they usually started you with Rapid simply because the early testing had been done with it. I did get better results with the humalog. I'm in Ottawa and (finally) found a good endo. At least I think he's good. He respects my knowledge and answers my questions. He didn't try to boss me around which was nice. Thanks for the backup there. It was funny...he replied having changed the subject of his reply to "Pat's Drinking." Then said something about me drinking Jameson...I'm not a big whiskey fan, but that wasn't relevant. Gotta love (44 yr old) douchebags! :)

Thanks for writing! Sounds like you have found wonderful opthamologists just like me! With luck, maybe you'll end up with a great nephrologist too! (mine's wonderful!) i still get the occasional "floater" which scares me into thinking, "Uh-Oh..here comes the handy dandy eye patch again!) but they have (luckily) disappaited thus far! i'm scared one day they won't be able to fiix it when my eyes "blow out" again...I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us! Take care!
