Paul, I love the phrase at the bottom of your comments: "Act always as if the future of the Universe depended on what you did, while laughing at yourself for thinking that whatever you do makes any difference." Very existential. Love it, love it, love it. I appreciate the kind words, but ya know, I've never really felt overtly funny. My humor is very dry and when I try to translate that in my writing, it is very rarely caught. I checked out your MySpace music page. I dig. I really enjoyed 'Snake Eyes'.

I think I messed up something on the last comment, so I am trying it again...this is Mr. Rogers talking to a senate panel about funding a few decades ago, but he talks about something which you mentioned in Ajax's "Don't get arrested...ever" post. I thought, given your position on relating to others, that you would identify with what this video says. Hey Paul, On your advice I bought and have been reading Dr. Bernsteins diabetes solution - great read, thanks a lot for recommending it. It's pretty empowering to know that through a certain diet we can live much healthier than we've ever been told - it's pretty sad the ADA/CDA doesn't recommend a diet more a long the lines of bernsteins (I guess they need studies first, but it makes a lot of sense)

howdy paul, ok my grand daughter is the daughter of my step son. and from the best we can tell only his grand father has had diabetes in all of our families combined. i still have alot to learn about diabetes. i got a crash course about ketones this past weekend though. i had to take Lexus (my grand daughter) to loma linda sat. for high ketone levels. they said she might have a slight case of DKA but they were not positive on that. well she is home now and seems to be doing much better. talk to ya soon, Richard
